Please register to volunteer through our local website at https://rednosewinnipeg.ca/volunteer.

You must submit two pieces of identification: one valid, government-approved photo identification, preferably a driver's license, with a photo that clearly shows your current likeness.  We require copies of both the front and back of any government-issued identification to verify them with our clearance provider. 

A second form of identification from any of the approved documents below:

• Passport (Canada, US, European, etc.)  - Must have a photo details page and a Biometric page
• Driving License - Any Province, preferably Manitoba.
• Canadian Military ID Card
• Permanent Resident Card
• Status card with photo
• Government Employee Photo ID
• New Style Manitoba Health Plastic Card (both sides needed)
• Old Style Manitoba Health Card with a supported photo ID)

Paper application forms are available in person at Safety Services Manitoba's main reception, located at 3-1680 Notre Dame, Winnipeg, MB (our headquarters). Please ensure they copy your two forms of ID to submit with the original application form.  

Any application form, whether online or in paper format, that does not supply two forms of valid ID will be rejected. If you do not hear from a representative within 10 working days after submitting your application, please get in touch with us to verify that your application has been received and processed.

PLEASE NOTE:

We do not provide credit for judicial, probation, EIA, or family-based volunteering credits to fulfill any legal requirement in lieu of volunteer time given.  You must notify us in advance with your application if you are expecting some form of credit or acknowledgement.   

We provide documentation for educational credits that exceed 50 hours of volunteering in a season, and we offer a certificate of appreciation and/or verification of your engagement to support a resume entry, as needed.
